We are seeking a highly motivated Night Shift Federal Benefits Specialist to support critical federal operations in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for citizens and veterans seeking assistance with benefits inquiries during the overnight hours. This position offers the stability of federal contracting with the flexibility of night shift hours.
Role Overview:
As a Night Shift Specialist, you will utilize secure government systems to process applications, answer inquiries, and ensure that beneficiaries receive accurate information around the clock. We value accuracy, discretion, and a commitment to public service.
Responsibilities
- Answer high-volume inbound calls and emails from federal beneficiaries regarding eligibility, status, and claims processing.
- Accurately input and update beneficiary data into secure federal databases and CRM systems.
- Research and resolve complex inquiries regarding federal benefits and regulations.
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions in compliance with federal record-keeping standards.
- Escalate unresolved issues to Tier 2 supervisors or technical support teams.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive personal and financial information.
- Adhere to strict quality assurance and productivity metrics set by the federal contract.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Required for all federal contractor positions.
- Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, call center operations, or administrative support.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer proficiency and typing speed of 40+ WPM.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a federal background investigation and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
