Job Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the first point of contact for federal beneficiaries and applicants. You will manage high-volume inquiries regarding benefits, claims, and case status during the night shift. Your attention to detail and dedication to service will ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls for federal benefit inquiries and applications.
- Verify applicant identity and documentation in accordance with federal security standards.
- Process claims and data entry requests accurately with zero tolerance for error.
- Escalate complex technical or policy issues to senior specialists while maintaining case flow.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and OIG compliance guidelines.
- Utilize multiple government systems (e.g., ID.me, SAM.gov portals) to assist users remotely.
- Provide exceptional customer service to night-shift callers, ensuring a seamless experience.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen to be eligible for federal roles.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 6:00 PM - 2:00 AM or 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of customer service or call center experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new government software quickly.
- Background: Must pass a federal background check and drug screening.
