Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and workflow efficiency during the night shift to ensure 100% compliance with federal regulations and safety standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate documentation and timely distribution of critical supplies.
- Coordinate directly with the day shift leadership team to ensure seamless transition of operations and resolution of pending issues.
- Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections to maintain a secure and hazard-free work environment.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a team of federal support personnel, ensuring high performance and adherence to protocols.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations and operational disruptions, escalating issues to upper management when necessary.
- Generate and review night shift reports, including productivity metrics and compliance logs.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship and a valid Secret Clearance (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or federal operations.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred, with a strong focus on night shift management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during non-standard hours.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and federal reporting software (e.g., JDE, SAP, or similar).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise between technical teams and management.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
