Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patrols of federal facilities and grounds to deter and detect security violations.
- Monitor access control points, verifying credentials of all visitors and employees.
- Respond immediately to alarms, suspicious activities, and emergency situations.
- Prepare and maintain detailed incident reports and security logs.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations with a professional and firm demeanor.
- Assist in the emergency response team for facility evacuations and lockdowns.
Qualifications
- Must be a United States Citizen.
- Minimum of 1 year of security or law enforcement experience is preferred.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background investigation, drug screening, and medical evaluation.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical duties for extended periods.
