Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points to federal buildings and sensitive areas.
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to ensure facility security.
- Respond promptly and professionally to alarms, disturbances, and emergencies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed incident reports and security logs.
- Enforce federal regulations, laws, and agency policies strictly.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Perform vehicle and foot inspections for contraband and security violations.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship required (or permanent resident status eligible for clearance).
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Secret federal security clearance.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be available to work night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
