Responsibilities
- <ul><li>Monitor federal systems and networks during evening and overnight hours to ensure continuous operational integrity.</li><li>Troubleshoot complex technical issues and resolve critical incidents with minimal downtime.</li><li>Enforce strict federal security protocols and data privacy regulations on all systems.</li><li>Generate and analyze shift reports to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for process improvement.</li><li>Collaborate with day-shift teams to hand off critical tickets and ensure seamless transitions.</li><li>Conduct routine audits of access logs and user activity to maintain security compliance.</li></ul>
Qualifications
- <ul><li>Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is required.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience in a federal environment.</li><li>Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.</li><li>Proven ability to work independently and effectively during night shift hours.</li><li>Strong knowledge of federal IT standards, NIST guidelines, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FISMA).</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.</li></ul>
