Our 24/7 operations center is seeking dedicated professionals committed to maintaining public order during overnight hours. This position requires exceptional situational awareness and the ability to work independently in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities
- Patrol designated city zones during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Respond to emergency calls and incident reports with rapid deployment
- Document all activities using digital reporting systems and evidence protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch units and neighboring agencies during critical incidents
- Conduct preventative safety inspections in high-risk areas
- Maintain chain of custody for evidence and sensitive materials
- Participate in mandatory monthly training drills and scenario exercises
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Law Enforcement certification or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in public safety or security enforcement
- Ability to operate emergency vehicles under night conditions
- Proficiency in digital reporting systems (CAD/RMS)
- Clear background check and polygraph examination
- EMT or First Aid certification preferred
- Ability to work rotating schedules including weekends and holidays
- Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency highly valued
