Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol government facilities and perimeter areas during evening and overnight shifts.
- Enforce all federal, state, and local regulations strictly to ensure compliance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports and shift logs using government software.
- Respond promptly to alarms, security breaches, and emergency situations.
- Conduct security screenings and manage access control for staff and visitors.
- Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Florida Class E Driver's License is mandatory.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or public administration is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and respond to emergencies for extended periods.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
