Responsibilities
- Monitor city surveillance systems and respond to emergency incidents overnight
- Conduct regular patrols of municipal facilities and public spaces
- Document and report security breaches or suspicious activities
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical incidents
- Maintain communication logs and incident reports
- Enforce city ordinances during overnight hours
- Provide assistance to citizens during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and security clearance
- Shift availability (11 PM - 7 AM, 4 days/week)
- Basic knowledge of emergency response protocols
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
