Responsibilities
- Monitor emergency response systems and dispatch resources during nighttime operations
- Conduct routine patrols and surveillance to maintain public safety and infrastructure integrity
- Document and report incidents using standardized government protocols and digital systems
- Coordinate with state agencies and federal partners during cross-jurisdictional emergencies
- Provide critical support to disaster response and recovery operations overnight
- Manage public communications during off-hours, ensuring transparency and community trust
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations specific to night shift duties
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid Texas driver's license (mandatory for government roles)
- Minimum 2 years experience in law enforcement, emergency services, or public administration
- Availability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays without exception
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and security clearance (FBI fingerprinting required)
