Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to after-hours emergency calls for public works, utilities, and safety services
- Coordinate with state and federal agencies during overnight incident management
- Conduct routine inspections of municipal facilities and infrastructure during off-peak hours
- Maintain accurate incident logs and documentation for next-day handover
- Operate specialized equipment for water distribution, traffic signal maintenance, and emergency response
- Provide real-time support to first responders and overnight public safety teams
- Execute scheduled maintenance activities requiring minimal public disruption
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in public administration preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in government operations or emergency services
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain federal clearance for sensitive information access
- Strong decision-making skills under pressure during overnight scenarios
- Proficiency in GIS mapping, incident reporting software, and communication systems
- Physical stamina for outdoor inspections in desert climate conditions
- Availability to work rotating night shifts including weekends and holidays
