Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical county infrastructure systems during overnight hours
- Respond to emergency calls and coordinate with law enforcement/fire departments
- Process sensitive documentation with strict confidentiality protocols
- Conduct routine security patrols of government facilities
- Generate and submit daily operational reports
- Coordinate cross-agency communications during off-peak hours
- Implement disaster recovery procedures as needed
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid California driver's license
- Minimum 2 years experience in government or security operations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and incident reporting systems
- Valid government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Emergency response certification preferred (e.g., FEMA, CERT)
- Ability to lift 25lbs and stand for extended periods
- Fluent in English; bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
