Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned government facilities and public spaces during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts with immediate action
- Conduct access control for restricted areas and verify credentials
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain security logs
- Coordinate with emergency services during critical incidents
- Operate specialized security equipment including biometric scanners and alarm systems
- Provide first aid and crisis intervention as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License and clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Must pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security software systems
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift 25 lbs
- Fluency in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
