Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly patrols of municipal buildings and critical infrastructure
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts
- Enforce access control protocols for restricted areas
- Document incidents and prepare detailed shift reports
- Coordinate with emergency services during after-hours incidents
- Maintain emergency equipment readiness (fire, medical, alarms)
- Provide assistance to citizens during non-standard operating hours
Qualifications
- Valid California Guard Card or equivalent security certification
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class C California driver's license
- Proficient with surveillance technology and access control systems
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
