Responsibilities
- Monitor government facilities and assets using surveillance systems and physical patrols during overnight hours
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations per established protocols
- Conduct access control checks and verify credentials for personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security logs in compliance with municipal standards
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Implement emergency response procedures for natural disasters or security breaches
- Maintain communication protocols with day-shift personnel for seamless handovers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in criminal justice preferred
- Valid Arizona driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) on rotating schedules
- Active security guard certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong observational skills and crisis management capabilities
