Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, and network infrastructure during the night shift.
- Monitor system health, troubleshoot alerts, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure 99.9% uptime for state services.
- Install, configure, and deploy workstations and peripherals for remote and on-site employees.
- Manage and resolve Help Desk tickets and service requests with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to resolve complex issues and document technical solutions for knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Proven ability to work effectively during night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
