Responsibilities
- Manage and process pension fund transactions during night shift hours with 99.9% accuracy
- Ensure compliance with Texas state pension regulations and federal ERISA guidelines
- Generate monthly/quarterly pension fund performance reports for state auditors
- Coordinate with daytime staff for seamless cross-shift financial handovers
- Conduct preliminary fraud detection analysis on retirement account activities
- Update pension beneficiary records using state-of-the-art pension software
- Participate in quarterly pension policy reviews and implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years pension administration or retirement fund experience
- State of Texas Pension Fund Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and pension management software
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean background check
- Proven ability to work independently during night shift hours
- Strong knowledge of IRS 401(a) and 457(b) retirement plan structures
