Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned city zones during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM) to deter crime and maintain public order
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents requiring immediate intervention
- Conduct thorough investigations, collect evidence, and prepare detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with specialized units (K9, SWAT, Narcotics) for complex operations
- Enforce federal, state, and local laws with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
- Maintain accurate records using digital reporting systems and department databases
Qualifications
- Texas Peace Officer License (TCLEOSE) required
- High school diploma or GED; college degree preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years law enforcement experience or military police background
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in defensive tactics, firearms, and crisis de-escalation techniques
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass extensive background check and polygraph examination
