Responsibilities
- Manage emergency calls and dispatch police/fire/EMS units during overnight shifts
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and CAD software with precision
- Provide life-saving instructions via phone during crisis situations
- Maintain detailed incident logs and compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-agency responders during multi-jurisdictional incidents
- Adhere to strict HIPAA and NIMS protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 1+ years emergency dispatch or public safety experience
- Valid Florida Class E driver's license
- Ability to pass background check and psychological evaluation
- Proficiency in computer-aided dispatch systems
- Exceptional stress management and decision-making skills
- Must be US citizen or permanent resident
