Responsibilities
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned city areas during night hours to deter criminal activity
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide first aid/crisis intervention
- Document incidents using digital reporting systems and maintain accurate case files
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Conduct security checks at municipal facilities and public parks
- Participate in community outreach programs to build neighborhood trust
- Maintain strict compliance with municipal safety protocols and chain of command
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Valid Arizona Peace Officer certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 1 year experience in security, law enforcement, or related field
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM) with flexible scheduling
- Strong physical fitness and ability to pass background checks
- Proficiency in digital reporting systems and communication technology
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly desirable
