Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure county facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Conduct routine patrols and surveillance of public works sites
- Respond to emergency calls and security incidents with rapid deployment
- Document all activities using digital reporting systems and incident logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical incidents
- Maintain compliance with federal and state security protocols
- Operate surveillance equipment and access control systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid California Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years security or public safety experience
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure overnight environments
- Pass federal background investigation and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with surveillance technology and reporting software
