Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and enforce security protocols during overnight hours
- Respond to emergency incidents and provide first aid/crisis intervention
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of assigned areas
- Document incidents and maintain detailed activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response teams
- Operate security systems and surveillance equipment
- Enforce district regulations and safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid DC Security Officer License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security/public safety experience preferred
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
