Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming applications, documents, and data requests during assigned night shifts.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with Texas state regulations and DPS policies.
- Ensure the secure storage, retrieval, and organization of physical and digital files.
- Assist in the digitization and archiving of legacy records to improve operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with day-shift personnel to relay urgent inquiries or document status updates.
- Perform routine quality assurance checks on all data entry tasks to minimize errors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Records Management or Public Administration is preferred.
- Previous experience in government, law enforcement, or administrative records management is a plus.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (typically 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management software.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
