Responsibilities
- Monitor premises and personnel to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
- Respond to alarms and emergency incidents with immediate intervention
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas using surveillance equipment
- Enforce access control procedures and verify visitor credentials
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Maintain operational readiness of security systems and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED required)
- Valid Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Strong observational and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic knowledge of CCTV systems and alarm protocols
- Flexibility to work rotating overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
