Responsibilities
- Patrol government facilities during overnight hours to prevent unauthorized access and security breaches
- Operate surveillance systems and alarm monitoring equipment to detect suspicious activity
- Respond to emergency incidents, including medical emergencies and security threats
- Conduct thorough incident documentation and daily activity reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Enforce access control protocols for employees and visitors
- Perform routine safety inspections of buildings and grounds
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; security certification preferred
- Valid Kentucky driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Previous security or law enforcement experience required
- Must be available for flexible night shift schedule (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
