Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol designated municipal facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarm activations with appropriate protocols
- Enforce access control measures and verify credentials for all facility entrants
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and report facility maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Texas Class 'C' Driver's License and clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Proficient in surveillance technology and reporting software
- Valid Texas Private Security Officer license (or ability to obtain)
