Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol government premises during night hours
- Respond to security breaches and emergency incidents with protocol-compliant actions
- Maintain detailed incident reports and access logs for compliance
- Operate metal detectors, X-ray machines, and other security equipment
- Coordinate with law enforcement during critical situations
- Conduct routine safety inspections of facilities and grounds
- Enforce access control procedures for authorized personnel only
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient in surveillance technology and reporting software
- Strong situational awareness and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- U.S. citizenship and clean criminal record
