Responsibilities
- Monitor federal, state, and local regulatory compliance for municipal projects
- Conduct audits of departmental procedures and documentation
- Develop compliance training programs for 15+ city departments
- Investigate non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for city council review
- Coordinate with legal counsel on regulatory changes
- Manage compliance databases and tracking systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field
- 3+ years government compliance or regulatory experience
- Strong knowledge of Kansas state regulations and federal statutes
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure
- U.S. citizenship and clean background check required
