Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned government facilities and grounds to prevent unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and safety violations.
- Enforce strict access control protocols, including verifying credentials and conducting thorough bag searches.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emergency situations, alarms, and distress calls.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries using government-approved software systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of security equipment, including cameras, sensors, and alarm systems.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders during critical incidents.
- Maintain a high standard of professional appearance and conduct in compliance with federal regulations.
Qualifications
- US Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen (mandatory for government facility clearance).
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background investigation and drug screening.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
- License: Valid Driverβs License and current Security Guard License (or ability to obtain) required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to follow complex instructions.
