Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure government facilities, municipal buildings, and grounds in Oakland 24/7.
- Conduct regular patrols to deter unauthorized activity and ensure compliance with city ordinances.
- Respond promptly to emergency alarms, disturbances, and security incidents.
- Process access control logs and prepare detailed, accurate incident reports.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce parking regulations and maintain order in public areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid California Security Guard License (Guard Card) required.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities.
- Clear background check and drug screening required.
- Valid California Driver’s License preferred.
