Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure designated government facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance to prevent security breaches
- Respond promptly to emergency incidents and alarm activations
- Maintain detailed incident logs and security reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Operate security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring
- Enforce safety protocols for employees and visitors during non-business hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Valid Florida Class D Security License
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong observational and communication skills
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Must be available to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Basic first aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
