Responsibilities
- Patrol government facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security alerts
- Enforce access control protocols for restricted areas
- Document incidents and maintain detailed security logs
- Coordinate with Philadelphia Police Department during emergencies
- Conduct regular safety inspections of premises
- Operate emergency response equipment (fire systems, alarms)
- Provide witness statements for incident investigations
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Security Guard License (Act 235)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to pass federal background investigation
- Proficient in surveillance systems and access control software
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Ability to work independently in low-light conditions
