Responsibilities
- Conduct patrols and surveillance of federal facilities during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor security systems including CCTV, alarms, and access control points
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and suspicious activities with appropriate protocols
- Enforce federal regulations and conduct access control screenings for personnel/visitors
- Prepare detailed security reports and incident documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations
- Maintain vigilance against potential threats including terrorism and espionage
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years security experience or military/law enforcement background
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure overnight environments
- Proficiency with security technology systems (CCTV, access control)
- Strong communication skills and ability to write detailed reports
- Must pass background check and drug screening
