Responsibilities
- Patrol designated municipal facilities during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Operate advanced surveillance systems and access control technologies
- Respond to security breaches, medical emergencies, and weather incidents
- Complete detailed incident reports and digital surveillance logs
- Collaborate with Austin Police Department during emergency situations
- Conduct facility security assessments and recommend improvements
- Maintain strict compliance with municipal safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- TX Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with surveillance systems or access control preferred
- Ability to remain alert during overnight hours
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
