Responsibilities
- Monitor airport premises via CCTV surveillance systems during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Conduct regular patrols of terminals, tarmacs, and restricted access areas
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies following established protocols
- Screen passengers and baggage using advanced X-ray and metal detection equipment
- Document security activities and submit detailed incident reports
- Collaborate with TSA and local law enforcement agencies
- Operate emergency response equipment including fire suppression systems
- Enforce airport access control procedures for employees and contractors
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid Tennessee Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to pass TSA-mandated background check and drug screening
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in operating surveillance technology and communication systems
- Ability to remain alert during overnight shifts and respond to emergencies
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
