Responsibilities
- Patrol designated municipal facilities and perimeters during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to security alerts
- Conduct access control checks and verify visitor credentials
- Document incidents and security breaches in detailed reports
- Coordinate with law enforcement during emergency situations
- Maintain safety protocols for after-hours facility operations
- Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred
- Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Valid Texas Security Officer License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Proficient in surveillance technology and reporting systems
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- First Aid/CPR certification required
