Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol designated government facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies with coordinated law enforcement support
- Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation
- Conduct access control for personnel and vehicles at restricted entry points
- Collaborate with emergency response teams during critical situations
- Perform regular safety inspections of facilities and equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; security certification preferred
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision overnight
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with surveillance systems and access control technology
- Ability to remain calm during high-pressure emergency scenarios
- Pass background check and drug screening
