Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security breaches, medical emergencies, and environmental hazards
- Operate X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and access control systems
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services
- Conduct routine facility inspections and vulnerability assessments
- Maintain strict compliance with federal security protocols (FIPS, NIST)
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Security Officer license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Pass federal background investigation and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with surveillance technology and access control systems
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Must be U.S. citizen and eligible for federal security clearance
