Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol assigned city facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies following established protocolsConduct access control checks for personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed
- Operate security equipment including alarms, cameras, and communication systems
- Maintain situational awareness of all facility activities during shift
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting systems
