Responsibilities
- Monitor and secure state facilities during overnight hours to ensure public safety
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and incidents requiring immediate attention
- Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of assigned areas
- Document all activities, incidents, and observations in official reports
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical operations
- Enforce state regulations and safety protocols consistently
- Provide assistance to citizens during emergencies or non-critical situations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Texas Peace Officer License or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Physical fitness to handle emergency response duties
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Certification in CPR and first aid (or willingness to obtain)
