Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along assigned routes
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and USPS regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
- Interact professionally with customers and handle delivery inquiries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report mail irregularities
- Load/unload mail sacks weighing up to 70 pounds using proper techniques
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and walk 5-7 miles daily
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required)
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and tracking systems
