Responsibilities
- Process complex DMV transactions including license renewals, registrations, and title transfers with 99% accuracy
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries regarding vehicle codes, penalties, and documentation requirements
- Train new team members on DMV procedures, compliance standards, and service excellence protocols
- Maintain meticulous records using proprietary DMV software while ensuring data integrity
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities to enhance customer experience
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and DMV field offices on special cases
- Lead daily service team meetings to address operational challenges
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of DMV or government customer service experience
- Expert knowledge of California Vehicle Code and DMV regulations
- Proficiency in DMV-specific software (e.g., BOSS, CARS) and MS Office Suite
- Exceptional conflict resolution skills with proven de-escalation techniques
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure while handling 50+ daily transactions
- Valid Class C California Driver's License with clean record
- Spanish bilingual certification preferred
