Responsibilities
- Manage and direct incoming phone calls and correspondence with professionalism and courtesy.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems for government records.
- Assist the public with inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments or officials.
- Maintain office inventory, order supplies, and ensure the workspace remains organized and efficient.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and assist in the coordination of departmental events.
- Support senior staff with administrative tasks, including copying, scanning, and document formatting.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
