Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in person and via phone with professionalism and empathy.
- Process DMV transactions including license renewals, vehicle registration, and title transfers.
- Verify documents for accuracy and ensure all legal requirements are met.
- Explain complex DMV policies and regulations in simple, easy-to-understand language.
- Handle payments securely and accurately, and reconcile daily transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment for all visitors.
- Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate complex issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; previous customer service experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing speed of 35+ WPM.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
