Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, athletic courts, and green spaces
- Lead community events, youth programs, and recreational activities
- Perform groundskeeping duties including mowing, landscaping, and irrigation management
- Conduct safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist in special event setup, crowd control, and participant coordination
- Enforce park regulations with professionalism and community focus
- Collaborate with maintenance teams on facility improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- 1+ years experience in park maintenance, landscaping, or recreation services
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping equipment operation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must pass background check and drug screening
