Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscaping, mowing, trimming, and general grounds maintenance to ensure parks and facilities meet high cleanliness standards.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational programs, events, and sports leagues.
- Maintain and repair park facilities, including restrooms, picnic shelters, and playground equipment.
- Monitor park grounds for safety hazards, report maintenance issues, and enforce park rules to ensure a safe environment for visitors.
- Interact with the public in a professional and friendly manner, providing information and assistance to visitors.
- Operate and maintain light motorized equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with waste management and recycling efforts within designated park areas.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor including bending, lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping, gardening, or facility maintenance practices is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols and community service.
