Responsibilities
- Maintain athletic fields, landscaping, and park grounds through mowing, raking, edging, and general upkeep.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of park facilities, restrooms, and pavilions to ensure high standards of hygiene.
- Monitor park areas to ensure visitor safety and compliance with park rules and regulations.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of recreational equipment and special community events.
- Remove debris, litter, and hazards from trails and public spaces to keep the environment clean.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid New Jersey Driver's License is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact positively with the public.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and park maintenance equipment is an asset.
