Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park grounds including litter removal, mowing, pruning, and irrigation checks
- Assist in organizing and supervising recreational activities, sports leagues, and community events
- Operate park equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, hand tools) and perform minor repairs
- Monitor park facilities for safety hazards and report maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and enforce park regulations politely
- Assist in seasonal setup/takedown of park amenities and event infrastructure
- Collaborate with team members on beautification projects and special initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment operation
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Previous parks, landscaping, or customer service experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
