Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park equipment (playgrounds, athletic courts, picnic areas)
- Perform routine landscaping tasks including mowing, planting, and irrigation
- Ensure public safety through facility inspections and hazard mitigation
- Assist with event setup and support recreational programming
- Collaborate with maintenance teams on seasonal projects
- Enforce park regulations and provide visitor assistance
- Document maintenance activities and equipment needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping tools and safety protocols
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or facility maintenance preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass background check and drug screening
