Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, trails, and recreational facilities by mowing grass, trimming hedges, and cleaning restrooms.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on park equipment and playground structures to ensure safety compliance.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and cleanup of community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Serve as a friendly point of contact for park visitors, answering questions and resolving minor issues.
- Operate power tools, mowers, and other landscaping machinery safely and efficiently.
- Monitor park grounds for safety hazards and report maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or customer service is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and equipment operation.
